I am a science educator/biologist/photographer currently living in rural southeast Missouri. This region is considered the eastern edge of the Missouri Ozarks and provides a wealth of state parks and natural areas. In fact, the area is referred to as "The Parkland".

I hold a BS and Secondary Education degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Photography has been a passion since high school where I participated in project Fiesta, a program for students talented in the arts. During those years I had a home darkroom and dabbled in both black & white and color film processing and printing.
